In memory of Marie Senecal, mother of Joanne Travers , Partners for A Greater Voice will dedicate all donations during the month of May to special projects in Santo Domingo in her name. Marie was active in the organization. She was a main contributor to the Greater Voice cookbook, she visited one of the schools in the Dominican Republic and gave groceries and toys to the children, and she actively sought contributions in support of the work her daughter founded.  May marks Mother’s day and is also the month Marie was born.

Our 2003 US-based training program initiated hearing and habilitation projects in Early Intervention, Parent Participation, CASSA, Listening and Language Therapy, Mainstream In-Service, Training Workshops and Outreach to dozens of teachers and many communities in the Dominican Republic that continue to have an impact.
